A Full Week

Last week was the week that kept on giving.  First, Elle and I saw The Foreign Exchange and YahZarah perform in Norfolk at the Time Lounge.  I am a huge fan (having followed Phonte from back when he and Little Brother were still with 9th Wonder), so it was really awesome being able to meet them and celebrate their music with my wife.

A few days later, President Obama spoke at the graduation commencement for Hampton University, where I am a faculty member.  Having one of the most recognized individuals on the planet standing several feet in front of you is really a cool experience.  

And if all of that wasn't enough, Elle and I celebrated our second anniversary.  It doesn't get much better than that.  Life is a lot more satisfying when you marry your best friend.

With school coming to a close this week, there will be plenty of time to create new adventures, do a lot of writing, and get all of that sleep that I love so much.  So in theory, I should post more to this blog, but you know how it gets sometimes.  ;-)
